ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ASSOCIATE Perfect applicant will have a min of five years Accounts Receivable and Collections background with responsibility for billing, cash application and collections as well as communicating with outside customers and internal personnel in customer service, operations, and collections to investigate and follow-up on problems. Essential Duties and Assignments include the following Apply customer payments research and solve payment discrepancies process credit card payments and credits make adjustments to accounts as needed prepare weekly manual deposits analyze paying habits of customers who are delinquent in payment of account review open accounts for collection efforts and make decisions on pending orders, closing accounts and extending additional credit make outbound collection calls create and mail credit memos, vouchers, invoices, statements, and collection letters communicate with internal and external customers by telephone and by mail to investigate complaints, verify accuracy of fees, or to correct errors in accounts DSO management pro-actively manage customer payments terms within company guidelines establish and review credit limits for each customer, and consult with the business unit CFO to minimize credit risk.
